Each has the right ingredients to make your day very special and there are a number of additional options to give you the flexibility and opportunity to make the day something totally unique to you.

If you choose a Faraway Wedding package, this is an example of how your wedding experience could be:

It all starts for the bride when you are picked up from your hotel. The bridal party will be driven from your hotel to The Faraway Villa, which is , on the picturesque Lipa Noi beach. On arrival you’ll have time to relax and explore the villa before the hairdressing and make-up stylists arrive at the bride’s room to help you get ready for the ceremony.

At the appropriate time, minibuses arrive to take the groom and guests to join the bridal party at the villa. On arrival at the villa, everyone will be greeted with a homemade welcome drink as they take in the villa grounds, beach and the floral decorations.

When everyone is ready you can really start to enjoy the full Faraway Wedding day experience.

The groom is first to make his entrance. Traditional Thai dancers and musicians create a musical procession and with the groom safely seated on a majestic elephant, you’ll enjoy a truly incredible and spectacular journey as the procession carefully makes its way through the garden and flower arrangements to the beachfront terrace.

After dismounting to cheers of approval by the guests the groom sits next to his best man whilst everyone is treated to a traditional Thai welcome dance. At the end of the dance the groom and the guests are shown on to the beach and to the ceremonial area.

Here, the beach has been brushed into a pathway laid with rose petals and edged by flower adorned fire torches and flower arrangements.

Decorated chairs are positioned for your guests. Each chair has a fresh flower attached with ribbon and a cone made from a banana leaf filled with rose petals for confetti.

Once the guests are seated the aisle is scattered with petals to prepare for the bride’s arrival..

The music begins and the bridesmaids lead the bridal procession through the garden and on to the beach.

When the bride joins the groom you stand hand in hand facing your guests, allowing them the opportunity to share the emotion of the occasion, as you exchange your personal vows.

The celebrant guides you through the vows and a beautiful and symbolic sand ceremony where together you pour sand from the very beach where you are standing into a vase to symbolize the joining of your lives. Parents can also pour sand into the same vase to signify the joining of not just you but also your families.

When it comes to the exchange of your rings, the best man steps forward holding a large flower on a stem. Inside the flower are your wedding rings and, in turn, you take the rings and exchange them with each other.

Once the vows and rings have been exchanged, the celebrant pronounces you husband and wife, just as the sunset is now at its finest point, providing you with memories that’ll last forever. It will also provide you with amazing photographs to share with your friends and relatives who couldn’t attend.

A bottle of champagne is brought onto the beach and once you’ve popped the cork a toast is performed and that’s when you’ll be showered in rose petals, as the photographer expertly captures the moment.

Following the beach photographs, making the most of the sunset, you’ll then be introduced to the Koh Samui Registrar who will complete the signing of the civil registration and confirm that you are husband and wife as authorized by Thai law.

The bride and groom then ride the elephant onto the beach through the guests and into the sea for spectacular sunset shots. This is followed by the bride and groom and then all of the guests feeding the elephant.

As the ceremonies come to a close, refreshing cold towels are served to each guest before a delicious array of canapés and cocktails. As the photos continue the guests can be entertained by the cool jazzy sound of a saxophonist, acoustic guitarists or tradition Thai Khim music.

Then you, and each of your guests, will move onto the beach where you all release fire lanterns into the night sky whilst making a wish for the future happiness of the bride and groom. Then the groom has the honour of remotely starting an impressive firework display which sees the night sky burst into life before a breathtaking fire waterfall feature provides the backdrop for truly unforgettable photos.

The MC requests that the guests take their seats for dinner on the beachfront terrace which has a unique ambience complemented by hanging Chinese lanterns and tastefully lit palm trees.

An exquisite meal of authentic Thai or western dishes is served whilst you are entertained by traditional Thai dancers. In between dance sets, Thai musicians provide the ideal background music to complement the setting.

After dinner the bride and groom cut the cake and plant a love tree providing more photo opportunites.

As a final and dramatic end to the dinner, fire dancers put on a mesmerizing show of fire juggling and dancing that really sets the mood for the party that follows. All that’s left is for you and your guests to dance the night away as the DJ or band play a selection of your chosen records.
